About the Role
You will serve as a Administrative Officer within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, National Park Service - Southeast, Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. Salary: GS-12: $89,508 - $116,362 per annum *First time hires to the federal government typically start at the beginning salary in the range for their respective grade level. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.
What You'll Do
- →At the full performance level GS-12, the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: 1.
- →Directing and overseeing budget, financial management, and internal control programs to ensure responsible stewardship of government resources. 2.
- →Managing administrative operations, including procurement, contracting, property management, payroll, travel, records management, fleet, housing, and office support services. 3.
- →Serving as the primary liaison for human resources functions, including workforce planning. recruitment, staffing, position management, employee relations, and organizational development. 4.
- →Advising leadership on administrative policies, procedures, regulations, and organizational strategies affecting park operations. 5.
- →Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating park-wide administrative programs, policies, procedures, and internal controls. 6.
- →Collaborating with park leadership to develop annual work plans, budgets, and organizational priorities.
- →This position is classified as a 4-Supervisor position and supervision occupies less than 25% of the position's time, as incumbent provides administrative and technical supervision to between one (1) and three (3) positions), or only on a seasonal basis.
