About the Role
This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of General Counsel (OGC), with one vacancy in Washington, DC.
What You'll Do
- →As an Administrative Officer, you will perform the following duties: Oversee the General Counsel budget formulation and execution.
- →Manage the General Counsel budget to ensure all expenditures align with allocations and accounting reports remain accurate.
- →Provide recommendations with regard to solving complex budget formulation and execution problems.
- →Provide expert procurement guidance to offices.
- →Formulate General Counsel procurement policies in coordination with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Acquisition and Grants, and review and approve all General Counsel procurement action requests.
- →Perform a full range of organizational management functions to acquire and manage financial, staff, and physical resources.
- →Establish internal procedures, coordinate key issues with external agencies, and provide continuous strategic expertise and support to top management.
- →Execute the full range of personnel management responsibilities.
- →Plan work assignments for Budget Analysts, headquarters paralegal and administrative assistants in pursuit of office goals.
- →Plan and review work assignments of subordinates, including establishment of priorities and ensuring the completion of work.
