What You'll Do

  • The primary purpose of this position is to provide, secure and/or negotiate for the services needed to manage and run the administrative operations of an independent Federal agency.
  • Duties performed: Manage and run the administrative and financial operations of the agency, including budget estimates and justifications and compliance with federal reporting requirements.
  • Supervise a permanent staff, in addition to contractor personnel and staff members on temporary assignment.
  • Act as the agency's Contracting Officer, providing oversight and quality control over contracts, agreements, and invoice payments.
  • Provide oversight and quality control over federal financial requirements, ensuring completion of monthly closeout reports on travel, leave, and budget.
  • Ensure agency meeting locations are secured and accessible, and that all travel reservations and reimbursements are completed correctly and timely.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S Citizen to apply for this position.
  • You must successfully pass a background investigation.

  • Must meet Time-In-Grade requirements.
  • Status Candidates must submit an SF-50 and recent appraisal.
  • Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
  • Time-in-Grade must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
  • A pre-employment drug test may be required.
