About the Role
Administrative Officer in the Air Traffic Organization, providing executive level administrative support to the Boston District.
What You'll Do
- →Acts as an individual contributor and/or member of a team for projects/programs within a defined area of responsibility.
- →Applies experience and detailed knowledge applicable to his/her discipline to plan and accomplish assignments.
- →Typical assignments may include collecting and analyzing data/information; conducting research; applying policies and procedures; identifying problems; and working with higher level and lower level professionals in day-to-day operations.
- →Incumbent demonstrates some independence in planning time and using assigned resources to accomplish tasks or small projects.
- →Acts a liaison between management levels within the organization, supporting the District facilities with information, material and assistance.
- →Applied experience and detailed knowledge applicable to his/her discipline, tracks and analyzes data to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- →Interprets guidelines and provide advice to District management on the operation of assigned programs and interrelationships of such programs.
- →Contacts are primarily internal to the organizational unit, major subdivision, or LOB/SO with a manager and other employees to share information, provide data and/or written analyses, and/or explain the status of assignments.
- →Incumbent serves as the District's focal point for personnel activities.
- →Collaborates with managers and personnel specialists to resolve specific human resource problems.
- →Provides guidance and assistance to District managers on preparing personnel actions and justifying the appointment of selected candidates.
- →Initiates personnel and administrative actions involving transfer, temporary assignments and promotions.
- →Provides support to District managers for processing personnel related actions.
- →Completes FPPS actions for district facilities without administrative support.
Requirements

- ✓Substitution of Education FV-G Level: Ph.D, or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years progressively higher level graduate education leading toward such a degree or LL.M., if related.

- ✓If copies of transcripts are not provided, your claimed education cannot be considered during the qualification review process.
- ✓If selected, an official transcript will be required prior to appointment.
- ✓Schools must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the US Department of Education.
- ✓Foreign education must be evaluated by a private professional organization specializing in interpretation of foreign education credentials or an accredited U.S. educational institution in terms of equivalency to a degree acquired at an American college or university.
- ✓A copy of the evaluation results MUST be included in your application package.
- ✓If you do not include a copy of the evaluation as part of your application package, your foreign education will not be considered.
