What You'll Do

  • If selected for this position, you will serve as the receptionist for the office to support the U.S.
  • Attorney's Office by providing a variety of office support services.
  • Typical work assignments will include: Receive telephone calls and visitors to the office.
  • Receive, review and distribute incoming mail and maintains logs of packages.
  • Prepare and assist with travel authorization for employees.
  • Order office supplies and other commonly used items using government purchase card.
  • Provide accurate and timely data keying of invoices.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the financial management payment files in accordance with the established policies and procedures Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
  • This position is considered a career ladder opportunity, with full performance level of GS-7.
  • You may be non-competitively promoted to the next grade level at the discretion of your supervisor and meeting regulatory and legal requirements for promotion, satisfactory performance, and the availability of higher-level work.

Requirements

  • All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S.
  • Department of Education.
