About the Role

You will serve as an ADJUTANT in the G-1 Directorate at Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Command (MAGTFTC) of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR.

What You'll Do

  • You will serve as the Installation Adjutant and Administrative manager responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of command level administrative programs.
  • You will provide expert policy interpretation and technical guidance to high level authorities throughout the subordinate commands.
  • You will conduct regulatory research and develop solutions for complex administrative issues involving interpretation of directives and policy guidance.
  • You will serve as the Installation Military Postal Officer and Installation Official Mail Manager inspecting, registered/certified mail delivery/accountability and budget.
  • You will be responsible for preparing the Commanding General's response to congressional inquiries and reviews and/or validate responses for Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) replies.
  • You will oversee preparation of documents (e.g., white papers, reports, strategy briefs) across multiple programs to ensure that proposed strategies or courses of action are clear, well-formulated, and reflect program office priorities.
  • You will analyze budget obligation, commitment, and execution data from a variety of projects to address deficiencies in program execution.
  • You will create new systems and procedures (e.g., administrative support systems, audits, inspections, internal management processes, financial procedures) to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • You will collaborate with Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Program Managers to develop and improve information management (IM), knowledge management (KM), Privacy Act (PA), or personally identifiable information (PII) systems.
  • You will analyze human capital management program requirements for maintaining an efficient workforce.
  • You will manage or direct recognition programs (e.g., awards dinners, annual recognition events) for an organization.
  • You will establish short and long-range plans or goals to accomplish command personnel readiness program objectives.
  • You will oversee new and recurring congressional inquiries to coordinate responses and provide information to congressional members and their staff.
  • You will analyze congressional inquiries to determine the nature of a request, task the appropriate agency for action, and ensure the agency responds to the inquiry official correspondence, problem-solving
