Laparkan Trading Limited is seeking a motivated Accounting Associate to join our Finance team. If you’re passionate about accuracy, teamwork and professional excellence, we’d love to hear from you!
Minimum Requirements
- Five (5) CXC subjects, including Mathematics, English Language and Principles of Accounts.
- CAT Level 1 or higher (or currently pursuing ACCA/CAT).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Certificate, Diploma or Associate Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and post invoices, receipts, journal entries and other accounting records.
- Reconcile customer, vendor, bank and general ledger accounts.
- Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.
- Assist with month-end closings, financial reports and account reconciliations.
- Support audits and ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
