About the Position: This Accountant position is a key professional role within the Directorate Resource Management at Tobyhanna Army Depot. As a GS-11 Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the fiscal integrity of Army programs. You will analyze complex financial data, advise leadership on accounting policy, and help maintain the financial health of an organization critical to our nation's defense.
What You'll Do
- →Review standard accounting products for compliance with regulatory and standard accounting practices.
- →Provide advice and assistance to managers concerning the application of accounting techniques and the development of financial procedures.
- →Analyze financial documents to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data.
- →Prepare proposals, reports or manuals reflecting analysis of accounting practices, methods and procedures.
