What You'll Do
- →Serves as the agency expert in the DLA Finance Service Provider Branch and provides guidance and support on matters pertaining to the accounting and financial business objectives.
- →Analyzes and reviews accounting policies, processes, practices, and procedures, and takes initiative to redefine roles and responsibilities.
- →Identifies functional process issues and develops proposals for new or revised process structures to improve performance effectiveness Develops detailed work plans to effectively advance DLA's operations and sustain the Service Provider program's audit preparedness.
- →Provides expert authoritative guidance to top agency management officials ensuring that the agency conforms with accounting, budgetary and the functional, statutory .....
- →CONTD: and regulatory policies of Congress, OMB, Government Accountability Office (GAO), Treasury, DoD, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to ensure regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
