About the Role
This Vacancy is for the Rapid Hiring Event at the Dimond Mall (800 E Dimond Blvd Suite 136, Anchorage, AK) on 06-JUN-2026 from 11:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. About the position: Assigned to the Buckner & Elmendorf Fitness Center Pools on JBER, AK. This is a Flexible position. Employees work a varying schedule up to a maximum of 40 hours per week, depending on facility needs.
What You'll Do
- →Continuously observes swimming area to ensure safety of patrons.
- →Ensures the swimming area is open to patrons at scheduled times and only authorized persons are admitted to the area.
- →Rescues swimmers in trouble, promptly administers first aid, and calls for medical assistance if and when needed.
- →Warns swimmers of unsafe environmental or health conditions.
- →When working at pools, may operate water pumps and control chemical additives to ensure pool water meets specified standards.
- →Ensures that diving boards, swimming equipment, and deck area are inspected frequently for cracks, loose matting, debris or hazards and that necessary repairs and notification(s) are made.
- →May perform other related or incidental duties as assigned for the daily operation of the swimming area to include cleaning of bath houses, main pools, pool decks, etc.
