The Assertive Defender gives care without re-checking whether the care was enough. The Si-Fe machinery is the same — they remember birthdays, anticipate needs, hold the group's emotional infrastructure — but they can rest after a long week without re-reading every interaction. The risk: missing the cue that someone needed something they didn't ask for, since the radar is calibrated to ignore the doubt that would surface it. The work is treating direct asks as a normal part of relationships, not a failure of attunement.
