The Assertive Mediator steers by their values without re-checking the reading. The Fi compass still points where it points — the INFP-A simply trusts the direction without re-running the audit every morning. They can disagree without spiralling on whether they were "authentic enough," and hold positions in public that align with their private convictions. The risk: missing the cases where a second pass would have revealed value-conflict the first read smoothed over. Trusted friends with permission to push back are useful.
