Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do
- →Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as the following: Marina/Fishing Pier, Community Activities, ITT Office, Campsites/Cottages, Arts & Crafts, Fitness/Athletics, Golf Course, Skeet Range, Youth Activities, Bowling Center & Stables.
- →Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity.
- →Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.
- →Assists supervisor with programs and activities sponsored by the Semper Fit Athletic Section such as Intramurals, All-Marine and special events to include: accomplishing team schedules, disseminating publicity and information, preparing facilities, supervising games/matches, etc.
- →Provides customer service and information and instruction regarding athletic facilities and programs; issuing and retrieving uniforms and other athletic supplies; reserving athletic fields, basketball courts, racquetball courts etc.; directing and applying rules and regulations in supervising patrons in indoor and outdoor facilities; prioritizing patron usage; and laundering towels, uniforms etc.
- →Periodically checks and replenishes the outdoor athletic facilities restrooms for supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap etc.
- →Helps prepare and maintain gymnasiums and other playing fields for formal, recurring and informal sports.
- →Incumbent is responsible for daily maintenance and cleanliness of specific facility areas, i.e. softball fields, football fields, and picnic pavilions in accordance with established safety procedures.
- →May ensure playing surfaces and facilities are properly maintained, safe and ready for play.
- →Performs daily safety and sanitation inspections of all outdoor athletic facilities and corrects discrepancies or reports discrepancies that are beyond their control to appropriate personnel and supervisor.
- →Helps maintain inventory and accountability of all athletic supplies and equipment in accordance with internal control procedures.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy.
- →Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner.
- →Takes action to solve problems quickly.
