The incumbent is responsible for all facets of water and sewage treatment operations and maintenance for this large, multi-faceted facility.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Operate, inspect, maintain and perform various operational repairs on a sewage treatment plant and various auxiliary equipment.
- →Performs all preventative maintenance inspections on all components of the base system on a scheduled basis.
- →Makes emergency and/or scheduled overhauls of equipment with complex interrelationships among components, such as pumps, valves, digester mechanisms, universal joints, floats, lift pumps, etc.
- →Operates water purification plant.
- →Conducts periodic routine chlorimetric and laboratory tests of raw and treated water.
- →Performs major and minor repair and maintenance of water works system.
- →Maintains necessary preventative maintenance and related records for all equipment serviced; requisitions parts and supplies as required.
