About the Role
You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION WARFARE TRAINING DETACHMENT (IWTD) of NAVMETOCPRODEVCEN.
What You'll Do
- →You will research, create, review, and carry out studies and analyses, resulting in courseware instruction in the fields of Meteorology and Oceanography.
- →You will assist with course management, instructor certification and evaluation services needed.
- →You will act as the primary point of contact in planning, curriculum development, revision, and periodic recertification of meteorological and oceanographic training.
- →You will act as the primary Instructor/Course Curriculum Model Manager (C2M2) for courses of instruction in the fields of meteorology and Oceanography as assigned.
- →You will review and evaluate audio-visual aids for courses to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- →You will participate in seminars, studies, and workshops on: Master Training Specialist Certificate, training and testing materials, methodologies of curriculum development and delivery: and optimization of classroom delivery methods and resources.
- →You will maintain, update, and develop new lesson plans and courses of instruction by utilizing expertise in the subject matter and through understating new developments and technologies of the Naval Oceanography Program.
- →You will maintain liaison with national, military, scientific, and technical agencies as required.
