About the Role
You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Service Shop (Code 990), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will spot audits shop trade theory/core tasks records and qualification records for conformance with established guidelines.
- →You will establish metrics to identify material costs expended by each fiscal year for Overhead Expenditures/Labor Expenditures on a monthly basis.
- →You will coordinate procurement, storage, and the use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio visual aids, training devices, laboratory equipment.
- →You will participate in developing, scheduling, and implementing programs for the development of personnel through Continued Training and Development Programs.
- →You will maintain a database of Code/Shop CTD Proficiency Course Schedule on an annual basis to include mechanic, course to attend, and date and time.
