About the Role
You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST (NUCLEAR) in the Preservation Shop (Code 970), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will establish metrics to identify material costs expended by each FY for Overhead Expenditures/Labor Expenditures monthly.
- →You will spot audits shop trade theory/core tasks records and qualification records, for conformance with established guidelines.
- →You will coordinate procurement, storage and the use of instructional materials and textbooks, audio-visual aids, training devices, and laboratory equipment.
- →You will maintain a database of Code/Shop including courses to attend, date and time, training taken, proficiency rating of the course, etc.
- →You will support the Code/Shop with preparing Proficiency Course Material, handouts, mock up support set up.
- →You will communicate with other training departments and codes who will support your Code/Shop with data and support as appropriate.
Requirements
- ✓Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
