About the Role
The Training Specialist will design, develop, deliver, and evaluate education, training, performance improvement and/or career development programs covering subject-matter areas that are wide-ranging, broad and complex on a national and international basis. The selectee will also apply PDC's instructional system design (ISD) process to ensure that training is consistent, of high quality, legally defensible and cost beneficial.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Managing curricula and/or operational functions related to training and education.
- →Leading teams of trainers, training developers, and training technicians to develop and deliver training initiatives and programs.
- →Utilizing a wide variety of learning methods including technology-based approaches to provide consultative services.
- →Analyzing program and personnel needs for use in the development of products and services.
- →Selecting the best instructional methods to promote learning and to match the needs of the learning audience.
- →Developing course materials to ensure alignment with the learning objectives and established standards.
- →Reviewing completed work to see that the supervisors’ instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.
