The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Technical Training Instructor performing all technical training instructor classroom-related activities, supporting course curriculum development, modification, and/or revision efforts in enlisted initial skills, and/or supplemental Technical Training courses.
What You'll Do
- →Instructs students through assigned blocks of instruction at basic levels within the classroom, laboratory, and/or field environment for automotive-based curriculum.
- →Studies course objectives, technical orders, and other materials to prepare for assigned courses, blocks, and/or units of instruction.
- →Prepares, maintains, and presents diverse material; maintains classroom decorum; and ensures supplies, equipment, and classrooms are available for training.
- →Acts as the SME for automotive-based course materials to help ensure they meet career field education and training plan (CFETP) requirements.
- →Plans, develops, executes, and evaluates a comprehensive and effective training program.
- →Maintains professional and technical proficiency and accomplishes special projects related to specialty area, to include staff surveillance visits to various training activities.

- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
- ✓Appointment of military members before the release or discharge date is permissible if the member is on terminal leave.
- ✓At the time the active duty member applies for a civil position, he or she must submit a "certification" memo in lieu of a DD-Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty.
- ✓Active duty members applying for a civil service position without submitting a valid certification memo or DD-Form 214 with their application will render the member ineligible for the position.
- ✓Note: The VOW Act provides tentative preference.
- ✓If appointed, a DD Form-214 must be submitted upon receipt
