Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, El Paso Sector: Mission Readiness Operations Santa Teresa Station Clint Station
What You'll Do
- →This position starts at an hourly rate of $20.61 (WG-06, Step 1) to $24.05 (WG-06, Step 5).
- →The Tools and Parts Attendant supports either a Maintenance Services Unit or a Vehicle Repair Unit to establish and maintain the supply program for automotive and/or maintenance parts, supplies and equipment; duties and responsibilities include: Ensuring the timely acquisition, storage, and disposal of automotive and maintenance tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- →Purchasing automotive parts, supplies, tools, equipment, vehicle repairs and services and any other items necessary to maintain fleet operations.
- →Retaining all purchase data and maintaining the information in a database.
- →Receiving, unloading, and storing items; issuing parts to automotive mechanics; and conducting quarterly and annual inventories of all capitalized equipment.
