You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST in the Operations Department, Technical Control, Operations Department of NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC.
What You'll Do
- →You will monitor the timely delivery of message traffic between communications facilities, aircraft and Afloat forces.
- →You will ensure the availability and functionality of the TCF telecommunications equipment system to include the Automated Network Control Center.
- →You will monitor, patching, and operating digital, analog, audio, and optical circuitry within a Technical Control Facility (TCF) or similar network operations center.
- →You will be configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining High Frequency (HF), Super High Frequency (SHF), Ultra High Frequency (UHF), and Extremely High Frequency (EHF) satellite communications systems.
- →You will experience initiating outage reports, Hazardous Conditions (HAZCONs), and system health checks to resolve complex telecommunications network issues.
