Joining the Secret Service, Office of Technical Operations, Operational Communications and Integration Division, will allow you to provide a technically secure environment for the President and Vice President, as well as other prominent individuals. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a Telecommunications Specialist in the Office of Technical Operations, Operational Communications and Integration Division.
- →Typical work assignments include: Developing and engineering advanced radio communication systems customized to meet the unique operational requirements.
- →Configuring, deploying, operating and maintaining Radio Frequency (RF) communication systems to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
- →Serving as a technical expert during system failures and outages by troubleshooting communication systems, identifying root causes, and implementing timely and effective solutions.
- →Diagnosing technical issues, replacing malfunctioning components, and conducting comprehensive testing to ensure full restoration of system functionality.
- →Leading the integration of communication and video infrastructure to create a unified system that ensures both components operate cohesively.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓If selected for this position, you will be required to: Obtain and maintain a Top-secret Tier 5 clearance.

- ✓This position requires frequent travel aboard commercial and/or military aircraft.
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
