This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/Infrastructure Directorate.
What You'll Do
- →Manages funds, when applicable, and tracks expenditures for the respective equipment, system, or program to ensure adequate resources are available to complete projects or provide service to customers.
- →Provides technical support of acquisitions, to include determining technical sufficiency of procurement packages, translation of technical requirements into contractual terms, technical interpretation of correspondence and documentation.
- →Performs comprehensive technical analysis of contractor deliverables.
- →Analyzes deliverables for compliance with DISA and Department of Defense (DoD) policy and procedures.
- →Prepares and presents briefings to senior leadership.
- →Reviews, analyzes and approves cost, develops technical specifications and accepts or rejects work products from contractors.
- →Reviews and evaluates contract technical proposals for adequacy and compliance with Request for Proposals (RFP).
- →Conducts evaluations of telecommunications systems, projects, or programs to determine future expenditures.
- →Reviews specifications and operational capabilities of the respective equipment and system.
Requirements
- ✓To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.
- ✓You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education .
- ✓Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application.

- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
