This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration, in the Chief Technology Office (JZ) organization in the Chief Information Office (J). The Technical & Solutions Architect position will serve as a key advisor and governance authority to Information Technology/ Operational Technology (IT/OT) leadership and IT/OT Project Management Offices (PMOs), helping turn new technology trends and business goals into clear plans and reusable patterns and reference architectures.
What You'll Do
- →As a Technical & Solutions Architect, you will: Acts as a key advisor and governance authority to Information Technology.
- →Operational Technology (IT/OT) leadership and IT/OT Project Management Offices (PMOs), helping turn new technology trends and business goals into clear plans and reusable patterns and reference architectures.
- →Facilitates and supports a review board to govern architectural compliance and interoperability across all BPA IT/OT portfolios.
- →Translates long-term agency strategic goals into multi-year technology roadmaps including transition architectures.
- →Establishes, maintains, and promotes regular use of the agency's architecture repository and enterprise continuum by publishing reusable Architecture Building Blocks (ABBs), solution patterns, and reference architectures, including the integration of cloud-native, hybrid, and Artificial Intelligence (generative and agentic) architectures.
- →Defines and enforces the integration of security governance with overall Enterprise Architecture governance from the earliest stages of the systems lifecycle.
