This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM), Medicare Parts C & D Oversight & Enforcement Group (MOEG), Division of PACE Audit Operations (DPAO). As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will serve as a technical advisor overseeing program integrity audits for private healthcare organizations, including Programs of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) organizations.
What You'll Do
- →Develops and refines audit methodologies, protocols, and guidance to ensure consistent and effective oversight of PACE organizations nationwide.
- →Provides technical expertise and direction on PACE audits and policy, including reviewing work products for accuracy, quality, and clear communication.
- →Coordinates audit activities with staff and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
- →Analyzes audit data and results to identify trends and risks and translates findings into actionable recommendations for policy and operational improvements.
- →Collaborates with CMS components, contractors, and external partners to provide technical assistance, strengthen compliance, and support consistent audit program implementation.
