This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located in Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security, Training Division, Fort Bragg, NC.
What You'll Do
- →Perform a variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of the Remote Target Systems (RETS).
- →Perform a variety of tasks required in accomplishing the preventive maintenance program.
- →Drive a government vehicle to and from work sites, with responsibility for preparation of trip tickets, compliance with traffic regulations, and observance of safety rules Operate the Range Control Station console in conjunction with, or absence of, Target Control Console Operator.
- →Assist in the repair and maintenance of plywood and prefabricated targets.
- →Maintain target pits and perform routine grounds maintenance duties such as cutting grass with hand and powered lawn mowers, picking up trash and paper from grounds, pulling and cutting weeds, etc.
