Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. What You'll Do

  • Design, make, alter, and repair garments according to Marine Corps and military standards.
  • Properly measure and fit Marine Corps and other military uniforms.
  • Fit and study garments on customers to determine required alterations.
  • Record required alterations on uniforms/garments.
  • Examine tags on garments to determine alterations that are needed.
  • Fit, alter, repair and make made-to-measure clothing, according to customers and clothing manufacturers¿ specifications and fit and apply principles of garments design, construction, and styling.
  • Possess knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of uniforms.
  • Acknowledges customers, smiles and makes eye contact.
  • Ask questions to determine, verify and solve problems.
  • Checks for satisfaction with the quality of goods and services.
  • Takes action to solve problems quickly.
  • Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise.
  • Adheres to safety regulations and standards.
  • Uses required safety equipment and observes safe work procedures.
