This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - DBC/SERVICES DEVELOPMENT DIRECTORATE.
What You'll Do
- →As Chief, incumbent directs and supervises highly skilled personnel in the systems analysis discipline.
- →Determines whether contractor performed work meets standards of adequacy necessary.
- →Serves as the senior technical and architectural expert and advisor involving economy and efficiency of the current programs, and resources, customer alignment, and assigned missions and workload.
- →Develops strategic plans to assist the mission partner in the oversight of existing capabilities, as well as the planning and delivery of future requirements.
- →Reviews policies, plans and proposals to improve operational capabilities and information systems.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
