About the Position: This position serves as the G6/USACE-IT Project Management Division Chief, a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist responsible for the management and operational control over critical Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) programs and projects. The incumbent will manage a diverse workforce of government and contract personnel to successfully execute large and complex IT projects.
What You'll Do
- →Manages and exercises operational control over critical Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) programs and projects.
- →Oversees the development of detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure proper sequencing of events and resource allocation.
- →Directs the execution of IM/IT programs and projects, ensuring they are implemented in accordance with baseline plans.
- →Monitors project progress throughout its lifecycle, manages cost using earned value management, and ensures deadlines are met.
- →Supervises government and contract personnel by setting work priorities, evaluating performance, and managing team assignments.
- →Coordinates with senior personnel and stakeholders to ensure IM/IT deployments comply with regulatory policies and user requirements.
- →Provides formal and informal feedback on project status and significant developments to senior leadership and stakeholders.
