About the Role
About the Position: Incumbent serves as Housing Manager with full delegated responsibility for the Housing Program, supervising employees engaged in support of several housing management programs, such as Housing Services Office (HSO), Unaccompanied Housing (UH), Furnishing Management and Army Family Housing (AFH). May be expected to perform duties under a joint base operations requiring an understanding and knowledge of Army, Air Force, or Navy policies, programs, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as the principal advisor and technical expert on matters affecting the housing program, providing technical housing expertise and assistance to garrison Commander/Manager and other installation staff.
- →Responsible for the accomplishment of broad management functions with the planning, management, administration and implementation of the technical and administrative operations of the housing management programs.
- →Represent the organization in matters involving housing planning or policy in meetings and coordinated efforts with other U.S. military offices and Host nation administration.
- →Prepare the command’s input to the IMCOM Family Housing Action Plan (FHAP).
- →Conduct market and customer entitlement surveys and collect statistical information to determine and evaluate current and future housing needs.
- →Lead in Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) data collection, analyze data, and report submission.
