About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for medical positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position requires supervising of counselors and clerical positions, assigning responsibilities and functions, reporting to the Local Command Group in the Army Substance Abuse Program to include rehabilitation, family counseling, educational and vocational problems related to substance abuse.
What You'll Do
- →Perform bio-psychological evaluations to determine level of alcohol/drug dependency.
- →Administer a multi-modality comprehensive rehabilitation treatment program to treat alcohol and/or drug abuse patients.
- →Monitor treatment accomplished by counselors to determine patients' progress Recommend personnel management actions such as hiring, awards, and disciplinary actions to ensure efficient organizational management.
- →Develop standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards.
- →Develop reports to address substance abuse program issues for management use and/or decision making.
- →Plan and schedule ongoing work to be accomplished by subordinates.
