About the Role
This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense using hiring authority in 5 USC 9905. Veterans Preference: Veterans preference does not apply under this Direct-Hire Authority (DHA). DISA has delegated authority by the Under Secretary of Defense to directly appoint qualified candidates related to the functions of the position to be filled.
What You'll Do
- →Performs the full range of first level supervisory duties in directing the work of Division personnel.
- →Sets priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work to meet critical budget and execution timelines.
- →Provides specialized guidance and assistance to high level officials within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (J8) and Hosting and Compute (J9) in formulating and establishing accounting and budget plans.
- →Represents the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (J8) and Hosting and Compute (J9) with respect to financial management requirements on various working groups, senior level meetings, etc.
- →Directs and monitors the execution of the Hosting and Compute’s (J9) annual operating and capital budgets.
- →Advises on sufficiency of the J9's appropriated, reimbursable and/or working capital fund resources and identifies reasonable program levels.
- →Oversees preparation of all phases of budget and execution status reporting to meet DISA and Hosting and Compute (J9) requirements.
