This position is part of the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Department of Energy. As a Support Services Contract Analyst, you will serve as an advisor to senior information management officials on information technology acquisition initiatives of the Department and provide information technology acquisition policy, and guidance to the DOE Information Management community.
What You'll Do
- →As a Support Services Contract Analyst, you will: Develops and manages contracts for services, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met from the initial planning stages through the final closeout of the contract.
- →Serves as the main advisor on all procurement-related issues, offering expert guidance to project teams and leadership to ensure the government obtains the best value.
- →Leads negotiations with contractors to resolve issues, adjust contract terms, and ensure that all parties adhere to the agreed-upon conditions.
- →Monitors contractor performance to ensure that all services are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the quality standards outlined in the contract.
- →Analyzes and makes recommendations on contract-related financial matters, including evaluating costs, managing budgets, and approving payments.
- →Prepares and maintains all necessary contract files and documentation to ensure a complete and accurate record of all contractual actions and decisions is readily available.
