This position, located at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System, Office of the Assistant Director, serves as a Supply Technician, responsible for the review, planning, and coordination of the delivery of health care programs throughout the facility. Serves as the Supply Technician (OA) for the Prosthetic Treatment Center providing prescribed prosthetic and/or orthotic items considered stock and inventory program management.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties of this position include but is not limited to...
- →Ability to read/interpret stock issue consults, identifying prescribed DME and the disposition.
- →Speak with and assist external stakeholders to fulfill DME prescriptions.
- →Ability to work with individuals from all walks of life, up to and including people with an unpleasant disposition who may be agitated or rude.
- →Correctly enter data from the DME prescription in to individual Veterans appliance Transaction record.
- →Notify internal stakeholders of special ordered DME that has been received and is ready for pick-up.
- →Ability to educate internal stakeholders on the requirements for issuance of DME.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
