About the Role

Serves as a Supply Systems Analyst for the VISN Supply Chain Office, providing analytical, administrative, and technical support for supply chain operations. Analyzes acquisition, logistics, inventory, and business processes; develops reports and recommendations; monitors performance measures; supports process improvement initiatives; and provides guidance to leadership and facility staff to improve operational efficiency and customer service. Location negotiable within VISN 2, upon selection.

What You'll Do

  • This position is organizationally aligned under the VISN 2 Network Supply Chain Office and supports supply chain operations across the Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN).
  • The incumbent serves as a VISN-level resource, collaborating with leadership and medical facilities to improve supply chain performance, support operational initiatives, and promote standardized business practices throughout the network.
  • Duties inlude but are not limited to: Analyzes supply chain operations, identifies trends, and recommends process improvements.
  • Monitors acquisition, logistics, inventory, and procurement performance metrics.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports supply chain data using automated systems.
  • Develops reports, dashboards, and recommendations for leadership.
  • Evaluates acquisition processes and recommends operational improvements.
  • Provides technical guidance on supply chain policies, procedures, and business processes.
  • Coordinates with contracting, logistics, fiscal, and program officials to resolve operational issues.
  • Supports acquisition planning, statements of work, and procurement documentation.
  • Develops and delivers training on supply chain systems and processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
