Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Tucson Sector, Mission Readiness Operations, located in Tucson AZ. Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →In this position as a Supply Management Specialist, you will perform various duties and responsibilities required to provide for the timely acquisition, inventory, storage and dispersal of departmental supplies, with the primary responsibility for activities involving the operation of supply and equipment management in the Department of Homeland Security.
- →This position starts at a salary of $62,893.00 (GS-09, Step 1) to $81,765.00 (GS-09, Step 10) GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.

- →Duties and responsibilities include: Providing direction to personnel who are assigned supply support duties in various operational units.
- →Organizing, arranging, and removing stock in storage areas in accordance with established procedures.
- →Initiating, developing, and administering supply programs in accordance with Federal Property Management regulations.
- →Developing procedures and instructions for administering, documenting, updating, and reporting the organization's inventory.
