About the Role
The GS-12 Congressional Liaison works in the Patient Advocate & Resource Center (PARC) and has significant personnel management responsibilities for a medium size professional and non-professional staff at the GS-12 grade level and below. The Congressional Liaison is responsible as a delegate of authority for the medical center director for review & response to executive correspondence and veteran-centric complaint resolution. - →Exercises supervisor authorities and responsibilities involving work assignment and review, as well as the administrative and personnel management functions relative to the staff supervised.
- →Works to resolve high level, formal customer complaints and grievances through implementation of Veteran Centered Complaint Resolution, initiation of service recovery efforts, and collaboration with staff across all PVAHCS Service Lines.
- →An integral part of this task includes management of the shared Outlook inbox for PVAHCS Congressional inquiries, including prompt response and resolution to Congressional office(s) for Veteran health care concerns on behalf of the PVAHCS.
