This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Chief Readiness Support Officer (OCRSO), Asset and Logistics Division. The primary purpose of this position is unified real property asset management strategy, policy and reporting for DHS, conducting strategic planning and policy analysis and development in support of the DHS strategic plan. . Non-BU: This is a non-bargaining unit position.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Senior Asset Management Specialist, GS-1101-15, your typical work assignments may include: Ensure the appropriate real property asset strategic planning, management tracking, budget, funding, evaluation, and prioritization framework is in place and maintained in order to ensure timely, informed asset management decisions and the strategic outcome of programs DHS wide.
- →Responsible for managing and supervising staff including planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short and long-term priorities, and preparing, reviewing, and modifying schedules for completion of work.
- →Plans, analyzes, develops, coordinates and evaluates a comprehensive and ongoing real property asset management strategies and sets program direction, planning and policies.
- →Provides direction and assistance to Headquarters and Component's management on Real Property management matters to address and resolve major often controversial matters.
