The primary purpose of this position is: to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over 22nd Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section. The Deputy Security Officer, shares with the Commander and Operations Officer the full scope of responsibility for managing the activities of the organization.
What You'll Do
- →DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the 22nd Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section.
- →Develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and Security Forces Operations objectives.
- →As Deputy Security Officer, serves as principal advisor on matters concerning integrated base defense, force protection, nuclear and conventional weapon systems security, vulnerability assessment and mitigation, police services, equipment capabilities, and combat arms training.
- →Fills role of Operations Officer and SFcommander during incumbent's absence and plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Security Operations flight and squadron, ensuring administrative law enforcement programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →DUTY 2: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Directs, coordinates, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors.
- →DUTY 3: Represents the Security Forces Squadron, Operations and Training Section with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →DUTY 4: Represents the Commander and Operation Officer with a variety of squadron, installation, and law enforcement organizations.
- →DUTY 5: Reports to the Operations Officer and Squadron Commander of Security Forces and performs other auxiliary, security and law enforcement functions.
