The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Program Analyst for Member Services (MS), Compliance and Internal Control Program Office. The incumbent plans, develops, and implements the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program. Including setting overall policies, objectives, timeframes, and procedures necessary for program accomplishments and effective management.
What You'll Do
- →Major Duties Include (But are not limited to): Assesses and manages risk that support health care programs and enable access to care.
- →Inventories controls and tracks and monitors results against policies, regulations, and laws.
- →Serves as the technical expert and consultant on Internal Control matters.
- →Plans, develops, implements, recommends, and monitors risk management framework.
- →Develops metrics to track the status of Internal Control Assessments (ICA).
- →Applies analytical, qualitative, and quantitative techniques needed to evaluate and assess current and proposed governance, risk, and compliance initiatives.
- →Ensures continuity of Internal Control functionality with any Member Services (MS) operational changes.
- →Plans, organizes and controls allocated resources to ensure project development and implementation.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; TBD by Supervisor Remote: This position is not authorized for Remote work.
- →Telework: This position may be authorized for Telework.
- →Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
- →Virtual: This position may be authorized for Virtual Work.
- →Virtual Work eligibility is for current VA employees that are already subject to the return to in person work mandate in their current position.
- →Definition of Virtual work: Employee works outside of original hiring duty station at VA-owned or leased space.
