This position is in the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) Service, Veterans Benefits Administration, Dept. of Veterans Affairs. VR&E helps eligible Veterans with service-connected disabilities gain and keep suitable employment or, if not employable, achieve maximum independence in daily living. The incumbent serves as Supervisory Program Analyst, performing first-line supervision: directing workload, managing priorities, and delegating duties across the team.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: Directs, manages and leads development of enterprise data analytics, performance reporting, and strategic analysis initiatives.
- →Provides guidance, data-driven opinions, contract overviews, best practices, strategic objectives and budget formulations for executive consideration when requested.
- →Determines national performance measures, targets, strategic objectives, and regional budget allocations as needed to support VR&E's mission.
- →Participates in the development of short- and long-range planning with VR&E leadership.
- →Reviews current and future state of Strategic Analysis and Insight (SAI) workload based on objective evidence and provides guidance as needed.
- →Identifies and assesses opportunities for improvement in qualitative and quantitative data collections methodologies.
- →Works collaboratively to support all stakeholders throughout the strategic planning lifecycle to ensure successful enterprise implementation, deployment communication, training and sustainment of data and contracts.
- →Lead and supervises a staff of professionals typically at the GS-13 levels and contractors.
- →Service as the liaison with stakeholders involved in the development and approval of performance data and contracts through the VA enterprise, specifically those that intercede with VR&E Service operations.
- →Performs all other duties supporting the successful deliver of VR&E Service business processes and benefits delivery as assigned by management.
- →Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
- →Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
- →The grade progression for this position is GS-15.
- →Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday Compressed/Flexible: May be available.
