About the Position: This position is assigned to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Military Community and Family Policy (DASD (MC&FP), Assistant Secretary of Defense for Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA), Office of the Under Secretary of Defense, Personnel and Readiness (USD (P&R)). This is a mobile worker position. This position requires you to reside in one of the counties listed below under additional information in either Maryland or Virginia.
What You'll Do
- →Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and direction to a team of Regional Program Analysts.
- →Oversee the implementation of assigned programs and services across all regions, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives.
- →Ensure the timely and accurate dissemination of guidance, policy updates, and strategic messaging from Military Community Support Programs to relevant stakeholders.
- →Serve as the liaison between the Military Services, community partners, and Military Community Support Programs, ensuring operational cohesion, responsiveness, and collaborative partnerships.
- →Analyze regional utilization data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance program effectiveness.
