What You'll Do

  • If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected office that is responsible for evaluations, inspections, and reviews of DOJ programs.
  • As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Managing all aspects of multiple reviews or projects, including planning, design, data collection and analysis, message development, final product writing, and resolution of recommendations.
  • Producing and/or presenting information and findings verbally and in writing through a variety of formats such as comprehensive and technical reports, press releases, status briefing, summaries of analysis, and formal correspondence.
  • Identifying information and insights to inform assessments of programs and operations, through methods including research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, and interviews of subject matter experts.
  • Evaluating internal and external policy and processes, recognizing patterns and trends, and formulating practical recommendations for improvement.
  • Leading by example through initiative, creativity, and flexibility in conducting work; and through anticipating and dealing effectively with obstacles.
  • Providing guidance to teams on the strategic direction of E&I and the OIG.
  • Developing highly productive relationships with internal and external parties, fostering teamwork, collaboration, and coordination to accomplish goals and effectively utilize resources.
  • Managing and developing employees, including: assigning appropriate workloads; identifying training needs; assessing employee performance; and addressing conduct and performance issues.
  • Demonstrating professional behavior in all interactions with others in a manner that reflects the organizational values of the OIG.
  • As a Supervisory Program Analyst, you will provide direction and supervision for E&I personnel located in Washington, DC or other OIG offices.
