This position is in the Food and Drug Administration's (FDA's) Office of the Commissioner (OC), Office of Operations (OO), Office of Finance, Budget, and Acquisitions (OFBA). The incumbent serves as a Branch Chief providing the full range of supervisory responsibilities over multiple team leaders and subordinate specialist. Serves as subject matter authority on all aspects of travel programs and activities under the purview of the office.
What You'll Do
- →Oversees the work of multiple team leaders and specialists and plans Branch operations, programs, and activities.
- →Plans Branch operations, programs, and activities, both in strategic planning and in actual determination, allocation, and administration of support program functions and activities.
- →Assess the impact of new policies, regulations or legislation on travel programs and briefs management on changes in travel regulations, procedures, and or policies and operational aspects of travel.
- →Analyze and advise within authority delegated, develops and implements qualitative and quantitative methods and metrics for the purpose of analyzing program support and efficiency.
- →Conducts additional analyses, carries out special projects, and performs additional representative assignments as directed.
