This position is part of the Defense Human Resources Activity. This position is as the Director of Computer/Electronic Accommodations Program (CAP), a directorate under the Defense Personnel and Family Support Office (DPFSO), and component of the Defense Human Resources Activity (DHRA), a field activity under the direction and authority of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (P&R); which incorporates the Defense Support Service Center (DSSC).
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Program Analyst at the GS-0343-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Advise the Director of DSSC on expanding employment opportunities and accommodation services for wounded Service members and individuals with disabilities.
- →Serve as the principal DoD and DSSC representative to senior Federal task forces, including the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Lead equipment evaluations, needs assessments, and technology demonstrations for supervisors, political appointees, and Federal leaders.
- →Assess program effectiveness in relation to recruitment and retention benchmarks for disabled veterans, wounded Service members, and individuals with disabilities.
- →Provide expert testimony before Congressional committees (either independently or alongside senior DoD officials) regarding CAP initiatives, policies, and employment provisions.

- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
