About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range & Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is a Supervisory Police Officer for the Ft. Yuma, AZ Directorate of Emergency Services.
What You'll Do
- →Provide technical guidance and performance management to subordinate police officers.
- →Formulate long-range operation plans by analyzing workload trends to ensure mission readiness.
- →Advise Command leadership on law enforcement issues to develop effective operational solutions.
- →Oversee emergency response situations in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and law enforcement standards.
- →Prepare performance ratings to evaluate, support staff development, and counsel key Police Department personnel.
- →Coordinate joint law enforcement activities with state and local agencies to exchange critical information.
