The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and/or flight chief, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Security Forces Flight.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of a Security Forces Flight, ensuring that personnel comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Represents the Security Forces Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with the base community.
- →Performs and enforces the full range of police officer duties within the military installation.
- →Incumbent has full powers of apprehension and detention which entails carrying a firearm, operating Security Forces vehicles and equipment, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations on a military installation.
