About the Role
About the Position: This position is within the 5E Antepartum/Gynecology Mother Baby Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service
What You'll Do
- →Determine and implement emergency interventions within the scope of practice after identifying and interpreting maternal and/or fetal distress and newborns in the absence of a physician.
- →Examine and assess obstetric patients and newborns.
- →Advise and counsel employees regarding polices, procedures and directives of management.
- →Interact with representatives from ancillary departments such as laboratory, pharmacy, infection control, and quality management.
- →Hear and resolve employee complaints and refer serious unresolved complaints to higher level management.
- →Initiate actions to correct performance or conduct problems.
