About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Nurse (Clinical/Emergency) with the Department of Defense at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Fort Gordon, GA. What You'll Do
- →Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.
- →Provide direct administrative support to the clinical nursing staff and is responsible for day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Department.
- →Perform a variety of administrative duties as an extension of and in support of the Hospital Chief Nurse, and Emergency Department Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) along with the Chief of the Emergency Department.
- →Assist the physician in performance of Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support and other specialized procedures.
- →Operate specialized medical equipment such as resuscitators, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, oxygen apparatus, intravenous pumps, and rapid intravenous infusers.
- →Plan, oversee and facilitate nursing triage.
