About the Role
This position is located in Referral Care Coordination Services at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Medical Center. The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Medical Support Assistant (MSA). Incumbent must possess knowledge of clinic processes and services to function in and interact with various clinics throughout the facility.

- →The incumbent orients medical staff to basic administrative policies and procedures dealing with outpatient scheduling and other administrative topic.
- →The incumbent provides administrative support to Physicians, Physician's Assistants, Nurses, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and other administrative and professional staff.
- →The incumbent must provide excellent customer service and must adhere to VA local, National and Service policies and procedures.
- →Incumbent must have a thorough knowledge of enrollment, eligibility and beneficiary travel and will assist as a backup for these programs.

Requirements
